The look in his eyes, the tone of his voice. His goodbye was breaking my heart. I grasped firmly to his hand, squeezing it - subtly pleading with him to not leave me. Tears filled my eyes as he softly said he was sorry to me. It sounded and seemed so final. He leaned in for a kiss, I kissed him longer; I never wanted it to end. I didn't want this to be our last kiss. He pulled back from me, his voice chocking back the tears. His hand loosened my grip where he left me alone in the dark summer's night.
